SEEING IS BELIEVING DAYS - MAY 9th & 30th, 2008

On May 9th and May 30th, 2008, we held our Seeing Is Believing Days.  In case you are not familiar with our SIB Days, they are a chance for us to invite all who are interested in Urban Prep to visit the Englewood Campus, meet some of our students and faculty, and really get a feel for what Urban Prep is.  Again this year, they were a huge success.  Thanks to all who visited and participated!!!

THE ACES UP! CELEBRITY CHARITY POKER TOURNAMENT

NOV. 29, 2007

On November 29, 2007, Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, Chicago Sun-Times columnist and “At the Movies” host Richard Roeper and former Chicago Bear Chris Zorich hosted “Aces UP!” celebrity poker tournament to support Urban Prep Academy, Chicago's only all-boys public charter high school. Participants played Texas Hold 'Em while competing for a prize pool valued at more than $10,000.
