Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men is Chicago’s first charter public school for boys and the city’s only all boys public school. Not only has the structure and design of Urban Prep relied heavily on existing research and data, but the school itself serves as a subject of many studies. Here, we provide a sampling of this type of research as well as information about single-sex education related to our student demographic.
